Unadulterated Beverages Gathering were the trailblazer in the Indian soda industry when they brought into India in 1949, and were the sole producer and merchant of cold drinks till the 1970s when Coke was approached to leave. The Unadulterated Beverages Gathering and Campa Refreshments Pvt. Ltd. basically ruled the whole Indian soda industry for around 15 years. Then, at that point, they began cold drinks during the shortfall of unfamiliar contest. The brand’s motto was “The Incomparable Indian Taste”, an allure for patriotism. It accordingly advertised an orange seasoned drink called ‘Campa Orange’, with the logo “Campa” on its containers.
During the 1980s, Campa Orange and Rush were the two fundamental orange sodas in India, with enormous packaging plants in Mumbai (Worli) and Delhi. Following the arrival of unfamiliar companies to the soda pop market during the 1990s, the prominence of cold drinks declined. In 2000-2001, its packaging plant and workplaces in Delhi were shut. In 2009 a modest quantity of item was all the while being packaged in the province of Haryana yet the beverage was elusive.
In 2022, cold drinks was obtained by Dependence Enterprises for ₹22 crores. Dependence Retail Adventures, the retail arm of the Dependence bunch sent off three variations of the beverages (cola, orange and lemon) at a few select stores.
